Antireflective Coating

Antireflective coatings, reduces reflection of the active surface of the optical applications. This means that by increasing the transmittance of visual components like prisms, lenses, glasses and custom designs, functionality comes ahead.

BYC Group proposes antireflective coating to improve efficiency, to improve the contrast and to eliminate unwanted secondary reflections (ghost image) by increasing transmittancy. BYC-AR coating eliminates secondary reflections. A lot of antireflective coating is resistant to physical and environmental impact. It is suited to almost any application with high optical properties.

Antireflective coating should be selected for your application. First you need to determine the correct spectral range for your system. Any antireflective coating significantly increases the performance of another system that can reduce your performance because they are outside of your wavelength in your system.

There will be 4% reflection from each surface of normal glass. If we add 2% in glass absorbance, total loss of light will be 10%.

Our single layer broadband coating decreases the reflectance of glass from each surface by 2%. Depending on the glass thickness 97% transmittance can be achieved.

BYC antireflective glass can be produced in various thickness and colors.BYC antireflective glass and different types of glass can be produced in various thicknesses.

Float glass
Extra clear glass
Bronze tinted glass
Green tinted glass
Blue tinted glass
Grey tinted glass

Our Coated Glass can be cut, processed, tempered, bent and laminated.

Scratch resistant, durable and our broadband antireflective coating increases transmittance and decreases reflectance of the glass and increase visual quality.
